Guruwar Peth is one of those places in Pune where every building has a story. We are at number 711. It’s a busy street, and Tata Autocomp System Ltd Pune has its base here. The building isn't new, but it’s sturdy enough for our needs. We occupy a space that’s seen a lot of years. Getting into Guruwar Peth during peak hours is always a bit of a challenge with all the two-wheelers and pedestrians. Once you’re inside 711, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city hum. Our office is filled with the usual stuff—paper, folders, a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don't have a fancy sign outside, just enough for people to find us if they’re looking. The rooms are a bit small, and the lighting is just okay, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day. Usually, someone goes out to the local vendor to get a tray of cups for everyone. It’s a very local way of working. We know the people in the neighboring buildings and say hello. We talk about the weather or the traffic. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. It’s just a place where we come to get our work done. The wooden floors sometimes creak, and the windows are a bit stiff when it rains. It’s just a normal day at 711 Guruwar Peth for all of us.
