Karvenagar is a nice, busy spot in Pune 52. Our place at Sr. No. 20 in Bharat Colony is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Tata Autocomp Gy Batteries Pvt Ltd operates out of this space, and it’s pretty straightforward inside. No big signs or flashing lights on the exterior. Just a regular building in a residential colony. We walk in every morning, say hello to the people next door, and get to work. The street outside is usually lined with scooters. Bharat Colony has a certain rhythm to it. You see the same people walking their dogs or heading to the local market. Inside, we have our desks and the usual office supplies scattered around. The fans hum all day to keep the Pune heat at bay. Sometimes we sit out on the steps for a quick break. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, just a functional space. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If someone is looking for us, they usually have to check the house numbers carefully because they aren't always in order on this road. We’ve got our own rhythms here. The tea stall around the corner is a frequent stop for the guys when they need a break. It’s just a normal workplace in a normal Pune neighborhood. We focus on the tasks at hand and don't worry about much else. The day ends, we lock up, and head home through the traffic.
