You can find Tata Autocomp Gy Batteries Ltd. over at Taco House on Damle Path, just off Law College Road in Erandwane. It’s a fairly well-known spot in this part of Pune. Unlike a lot of the heavy industrial zones, this area feels a bit more integrated into the city life. The building itself has been around for a while and it serves as our main base for handling the battery business. Inside, it’s mostly rows of desks and people talking on phones or looking at logistics sheets. We deal with a lot of batteries, which means there is a lot of tracking and coordination involved every single day. It isn't always smooth; sometimes the trucks are late or the paperwork gets tangled up, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. We don’t have any flashy displays in the lobby or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space where the staff comes to work, drinks their tea, and manages the distribution. The pace can get a bit frantic during the peak season when everyone seems to need a new battery at the same time. We just try to keep up with the demand without making too much of a fuss. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know the routine by heart. It’s a steady job in a nice part of town, and we just keep the wheels turning.
