Taruhara Plant Care Foundation

We are based in Marunji, specifically in Flat No A-13-508. This is out near Mulshi in Pune. We spend a lot of our time thinking about plants and how to look after them. The foundation started because a few of us really liked gardening and realized that a lot of people need help with their greenery. We aren't experts in white coats; we just have dirty fingernails and a lot of patience. Our office in Marunji is full of pots and soil samples. It gets a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with nature. We live and work in the same area, so we are always seeing the local trees and plants. It’s a good spot to be, away from the main city rush. We don't have any glossy brochures. Most of our advice is just shared over the phone or when people drop by the flat. We try to be practical. If a plant is dying, we look at why and try to fix it. It’s simple work but it feels important to us. Sometimes the paperwork for the foundation is a bit much, but then we go outside and look at the trees and it feels worth it. We are just a small group of people in Pune trying to make sure the plants around here get the care they need to grow well.
