Being out in Taluka Khandala means we have a bit more space than the shops in the city. Tirupati has been operating here for a while and the pace is a bit different. It is mostly about the work on the floor and making sure the machines are running like they should. Khandala can get quite hot in the summer, so we keep the big fans going all day long. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff about us. We just show up, do the shifts, and go home. The place is practical and built for utility, with concrete floors and high ceilings. You won't find any plush carpets here. Most of us live nearby, so it is a local crowd working at the site. We talk about the weather or what happened in the village over our tea breaks. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need to do. Sometimes the road to the facility gets a bit rough after the rains, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous, we just want to keep the operations steady. It is honest work and we take it as it comes without any extra layers of polish or pretense. There is a small dog that hangs around the gate sometimes, and we usually give it some leftovers when we finish our tiffin boxes.
