We operate out of Dapodi, specifically at the Shewantabai Kate Chawl. Amit Jadhav is the one who keeps things moving around here. The office is right there in the middle of the neighborhood, so it stays pretty lively throughout the day. Being in a chawl means we are always close to the people and the local action. We handle construction and infrastructure work, mostly focusing on getting things built properly without making a big fuss about it. It is a busy life. There are always tools being moved around or plans being looked over on the small desks we have. Pune 411012 is a good spot for us because we can get to different job sites fairly easily from here. We do not have a fancy glass building or a receptionist at the front. If you come by, you will probably find us wearing work clothes and drinking some chai. It gets a bit dusty with all the projects going on, but that is just part of the trade. We focus on the practical side of building things. Sometimes the weather slows us down, especially when the rains get heavy in July. We just wait it out and get back to it as soon as we can. It is hard work, and we are not trying to pretend it is anything else. Most of the guys from the area know us by now. We just want to keep doing our jobs and stay busy with the next project on the list.
