Taat Helping Hand Foundation

We are based out in Panvel, at a place called Commanders Renaissance. It is on the Matheran Road, in flat number 103, building B2. Being in Raigarh district gives us a bit more space than being in the middle of Mumbai. Taat Helping Hand Foundation is really just a group of us who wanted to pitch in and help out. The office is simple. We have some plastic chairs, a few old tables, and a lot of paperwork. It is a lived-in space. We do not try to look like a big corporation because we are not one. We are just local people in Panvel trying to lend a hand. Matheran Road can get quite busy with people heading up to the hill station, but we stay focused on what is happening right here in the flats and the surrounding area. We do not have a big mission statement on the wall. We just look at what is in front of us and try to deal with it. Sometimes we forget to tidy up the files, and the place looks a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We talk to our neighbors and the people in the building about what we are doing. It is a very hands-on way of working. We are not into fancy presentations or polished speeches. If you want to know what we are about, you just have to come by and have a cup of tea.
