Taask Welfare Association started in Wadgaon Bk because things just needed fixing around here. We are located at Vishwas Apt, Sn 29/1A/2, right in flat 45. It isn't a big, shiny office like the ones you see in the city center. It’s just a room where we sit on plastic chairs and talk about how to help the families living nearby. Some days we spend hours on paperwork, and other days we’re out on the street actually doing things. It’s mostly just a few of us locals trying to make life a bit easier for folks who are having a hard time. We don’t have fancy equipment or a big budget. Usually, it's just people from the building coming by to ask for advice or some help with a local problem. Being right here in Wadgaon means we see everyone passing by throughout the day. We grew up in these streets, so we know the names of the kids and the old folks who live on the ground floor. Sometimes the work moves really slowly, and sometimes we get more requests than we can handle. We just take it day by day. It’s not some grand project with a huge name. It’s just a small group of residents doing what we can when we have the time. If someone needs a hand, they generally know where to find us. We keep the lights on and try to be useful. It’s not always perfect, and we definitely make mistakes, but we are here.
