Swayamshodh Foundation

We are over here in Kothrud, at Balwantpuram Samrajy. It’s a quiet spot in Flat 104, Wing M. This foundation started because we saw things in Pune that needed a bit of attention. It’s mostly just a small group of us working out of this building on Sr. No. 110/1/A. We spend most of our days trying to figure out how to help folks around here. Sometimes it gets a bit busy and the paperwork piles up on the desks, but we keep at it. People stop by the flat once in a while to ask what we are doing. We tell them we're just regular people trying to make sense of things. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a normal room with some chairs and a lot of heart behind it. We’ve lived in Maharashtra a long time and Pune feels like home, so being in Kothrud makes sense for us. The address is a bit long to write out every time, but it’s where you’ll find us if you’re looking. We don’t have a big team, just a few hands helping out. Every day is a bit different. One day we are planning, the next we are talking to neighbors. It’s simple work, really. We just want to stay local and do what we can from our little corner in building L-7. It’s been a journey so far and we’re still learning as we go.
