Swastik Ind. Ltd. is actually located in a residential flat. We are at Flat No. 6 in Govinda Apartments. It’s tucked away behind the Shivajirao Bhosale Bank in Warje Malwadi. Pune is a big place, but this area has its own local feel. Being in an apartment means it doesn't look like a typical industrial company from the outside. You have to go through the main gate of the complex and find our block. Mr. Chavan Sachin Suresh is the one who looks after things here. It’s a regular home that we’ve turned into an office space. We have some desks in the living room area and use the other rooms for storage and paperwork. It’s quiet enough, though you hear the usual sounds of an apartment building—people moving about and the occasional scooter in the parking lot. Warje is a busy part of Pune, and the traffic on the main road can be a headache, but we’re a little bit set back from all that noise. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just ring the bell and come in. It’s a very simple, honest setup. We handle our business from here without any big fuss. Most of our work is done over the phone or on the computer, so we don't need a huge warehouse on site. It’s just a practical way to run things in the city. We work hard and keep things very straightforward for everyone.
