At Swastik Associates, we don't really have a single shop front you can just walk into. The address is listed as per resume, which sounds a bit strange if you're looking for us on a map. It’s basically because we go where the work is. Sometimes we are at one site, then another. It depends on the project or the person we are working with at the time. I spend a lot of my day looking at papers and making calls. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. We just focus on what needs doing on the ground. Most people find us through word of mouth or by looking at the specific details on the files we send over. It’s a bit of a flexible way to run things, but it works for us. We don't need a big lobby with a receptionist. We just need our tools and the paperwork. Sometimes I work from a small desk at home or a shared space if we're in the middle of a big job. It keeps the costs down and we stay mobile. If someone asks where we are, we just show them the latest update. It might be a bit confusing for some, but in our line of work, being tied to one spot isn't always helpful. We just keep moving and doing the tasks as they come up. It's an honest way to handle things without the overhead of a big building.
