Swaki Electricals

We are based in Shaniwar Peth, specifically in the River View Co Op Housing Society. It’s a bit of a mix here between people living their lives and small businesses like ours tucked into the ground floor or the units. Our address is 03 264/4. It is generally a bit quieter than the main market areas, which is nice when we need to focus on our work. We deal with electrical items and most of our day is spent testing things or writing out invoices for the local contractors who come by. The space is not very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the inventory. If you look out the window, you can see the activity of the society, people coming and going or the kids playing in the evenings. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people in the building. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes the rains make the river area a bit damp, but we just keep the doors closed and carry on with our tasks. It is an honest living and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We just show up, do the work, and make sure we’re ready for whoever needs help with their electrical supplies the next morning. It's a steady routine in a very traditional part of the city.
