Sustainable Sapiens Foundation

Sustainable Sapiens Foundation operates out of Nanded City, which is a massive residential township on the edge of Pune. We are located in Building A12, specifically in Flat 904 of the Mangal Bhairav area. Being on the ninth floor gives us a pretty decent view of the surroundings, which helps when things get a bit stressful. Nanded City is like a town of its own, so we don’t often have to leave the gates for anything. We spend our days mostly on our laptops or talking over the phone. The office is really just a spare room that we turned into a workspace. It’s got a couple of desks and a lot of books on the shelves. We’re interested in how people live and how we can make things last longer without breaking the world around us. It’s a quiet place to work, which is nice because it lets us focus. Sometimes the elevators in A12 are a bit slow, but we don’t mind the wait. We started this foundation because we wanted a place to explore new ideas without being tied down by a big company structure. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We usually just wear casual clothes and work at our own pace. There’s no big sign on the door or anything, just us doing our bit from a high-rise apartment.
