Surrya Landscapes

Our place is located at Camp Bannerghatta Main Road 329, right where the traffic starts to get heavy in the mornings. Surrya Landscapes is mostly about getting our hands dirty and moving plants around. If you walk into our office, you will probably see some mud on the floor because we are always coming and going from different sites. We have a small shed in the back where we keep the shovels and the bags of fertilizer. It smells like damp earth and cut grass most of the time, which is better than smelling like exhaust fumes from the main road. The team is usually out on the trucks by eight, so the office stays quiet for a while. I spend my time checking on the saplings and making sure the hoses aren't leaking. Bannerghatta is a busy area, and we have been at 329 for a good bit of time now. We don't have a fancy waiting room or a receptionist in a suit. It is just us in our work boots trying to figure out which shrubs will survive the summer heat. Sometimes the rain messes up our schedule and we end up sitting around the shop talking about old jobs we did. It is honest work and it keeps us outside in the fresh air, even if we go home tired and covered in dirt every single evening. We just like seeing things grow and keeping the equipment running properly.
