Surprise Interiors

We are located at Surprise Interiors, which is in the basement of Legacy Plaza on M G Road. It’s right next to Mona Food, so if you’re looking for us, that’s usually the best landmark. Being in a basement means we don’t get a lot of natural light, so we have to use plenty of lamps to show off what we have. M G Road is always buzzing with people, but once you come down the stairs to Shop No 2A, it gets a bit quieter. We deal with interior stuff, so the space is usually filled with samples, catalogs, and different materials. It’s not always the neatest place because we’re constantly pulling things out to show people. We’ve been here for a while now and have seen many shops in the plaza change. We just keep doing our thing. It’s a small operation, mostly just a couple of us working here every day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at sketches. It’s not a corporate setup at all; it’s more like a personal workspace where people can drop in and chat about their homes. Sometimes the basement gets a bit stuffy, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the work and try to make sure we have interesting things for people to look at when they visit. It works for us and seems to be alright for the folks who come down to see us.
