Suraj Enterprise

Suraj Enterprise is located on the second floor of Belbaug Sankul, which is right on Laxmi Road in Budhwar Peth. If you know Pune, you know that this area is incredibly crowded and full of energy. Laxmi Road is famous for its shops and the constant stream of people walking by. Our building, Belbaug Sankul, is right in the middle of it all. To get to our office at 177/78 205, you have to navigate the busy street and head up to the second floor. It’s a bit of a relief to get away from the noise of the market outside. Inside, it’s a fairly basic setup with some workstations and a lot of samples lying around. We’ve been here for quite some time, and we’ve seen the market change through the seasons. During festivals, it’s nearly impossible to move on the street, but that’s just part of life in Budhwar Peth. We don't use any fancy language to talk about ourselves. We just open up the shutters every morning and see what the day brings. Most of our time is spent talking to vendors or checking on orders. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest; we just want to get through our work and go home to our families. It is a busy life, but it is ours.
