Super Lap Tools

You can find us at J 74 in the S Block of M I D C Bhosari. If you know the industrial area, you know it’s a lot of grey buildings and big trucks. We spend our time here working with tools, specifically for lapping and finishing. It’s precision work but the environment is definitely industrial. There is usually a layer of fine dust on the workbenches by noon. We use a lot of different compounds and oils. It’s the kind of place where your hands are never really clean no matter how much you scrub. Bhosari is a busy hub, so there’s always a sense of rush in the air. We try to keep our head down and focus on the pieces we are working on. The lighting in the shop is bright so we can see the small details on the metal. We’ve got some old machines that still work better than the new ones we tried. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy in the S Block during the afternoons. We aren't trying to be anything big; we just like making sure the tools are right. Most of our day is just checking measurements and re-doing things until they are correct. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve got going.
