Sumangal Foundationfor Social Welfare

Sumangal Foundation for Social Welfare is located in Ganga Dham II. We are on the seventh floor, flat 704, in Block D. The area is Munjeri Market, which is usually quite busy and full of people. Our office is a bit higher up, so it stays relatively quiet during the day compared to the street below. We focus on social welfare projects from this small apartment. It’s not a big headquarters, just a place where we can sit down and plan our activities. We have some basic furniture, a few laptops, and lots of folders. Most of our work involves coordinating with local people and trying to manage different programs. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a fancy office space. We’d rather spend our effort on the actual work. The 411037 area of Pune is where we do most of our things. Often, we are out in the field, so the office is mostly for meetings and keeping our records straight. We have a lot of paperwork because of the nature of the foundation. Sometimes the building lift is slow, and we have to wait a while, which gives us a chance to catch up on local news. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We just try to do what we can with the resources we have. No big corporate mission, just regular people working for the community and getting through our tasks.
