Suman Graphics

You can find Suman Graphics in Narayan Peth. We are in Ganraj Apartment at Plot 559/4. It is very close to the Modi Ganpati temple, so the area gets quite busy during the festival season. Narayan Peth has all these narrow lanes and old buildings that make it hard to drive through. Our shop has been part of this street for many years. Inside, it smells like fresh paper and ink. We have our printing machines and computers taking up most of the space. There is barely enough room for a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. We spend our days doing layouts and checking proofs. Sometimes the machines get jammed and we have to spend an hour fixing them. It is a bit of a cramped space, but it works for us. We get a lot of local people coming in for small jobs like wedding cards or flyers. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know where we are. Usually, we are here from ten in the morning until late in the evening. The sound of the printers is constant throughout the day. We take turns going out for tea or a snack at the local shops. It’s a traditional neighborhood and we like being part of it. The temple bells are a nice sound to hear. We just keep our heads down and get the printing done as it comes in daily. We don't look for fame, just regular work.
