Suma Fine Chemicals

Our place, Suma Fine Chemicals, is located over at T/204/2 in the Bhosari Pavana Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever been to this part of the estate, you know it’s a real maze of warehouses and small factories. We’ve got a lot of drums and containers sitting around the floor most of the time. It smells a bit like old lab equipment and cleaning stuff, but we’re used to it by now. The crew is small, just a handful of people who know how to handle the scales and the mixing. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the floors stay dry. Bhosari can be quite dusty, so we’re always wiping down the equipment before we start a batch. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. By noon, most of us have some kind of mark on our clothes. We don't have a lunchroom, so we usually just clear a spot on a bench or sit outside if the weather isn't too punishing. The Pavana area is always humming with the sound of other businesses doing their thing. We get along well with the neighbors, and sometimes we borrow tools from each other. It’s a practical way to work. We don't have fancy brochures or a big sign out front. Most people find us because they know where T/204/2 is or they’ve been told where to turn after the main gate.
