We've been here in Nigdi for a while now, up on the first floor of Snehsadan Society in Pradhikaran. It’s a busy spot in Pimpri-Chinchwad, and we’re just part of the local scenery here. Our workspace at studioPERCEPT is pretty straightforward. Most days involve us sitting around drawing boards or screens, trying to figure out how to make a space work better for whoever is going to live or work in it. We don’t really go for fancy talk. If someone comes in, they usually see a mess of papers and coffee mugs. It's how we work. People in the neighborhood know us as the folks who deal with layouts and building plans. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on how things are actually getting built. Sometimes things go exactly as planned, and other times we have to fix a mistake on the fly. That’s just how construction goes. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy to get around from here. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we stay busy. We take on all sorts of projects, from small room fixes to bigger building stuff. It’s mostly about solving puzzles for people. We just try to get the job done without making a big fuss about it. If you’re walking around Sector No in Pradhikaran, you’ll probably see our sign. We’re usually in there from morning until late evening, just keeping at it.
