Sterlite Industries

We are located in Pune, Maharashtra. Sterlite Industries has been operating here for years. The city has changed a lot since we first started, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. Our office is a simple place where we get our work done. It’s not tucked away in some fancy high-rise building. We are closer to the ground, where all the real activity is. Every day is a bit different. One day we might be dealing with a lot of paperwork, and the next we are out meeting people or checking on supplies. We don't really have a big marketing team or anyone to polish up our image. What you see is pretty much what you get. We talk to each other like normal people, not like characters in a business manual. Sometimes there’s a bit of clutter on the desks and the tea is a little too sweet, but it’s a good place to work. We’ve had some long days here, especially when deadlines are tight. But we also have a laugh now and then. We don't pretend to be the biggest or the most important company around. We just do our bit and try to be fair with everyone we deal with. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and it seems to work for us. We’re just happy to be part of the local scene here.
