St George Industries

We are located right on R T Street in Kasba Peth. You’ll find us at number 12, which is close to Priyadarshan English Medium School. You can hear the school kids playing nearby. It’s a pretty lively neighborhood to work in. St George Industries has been in this spot since before the school even got so big. The building is quite old, with those thick walls that keep it somewhat cool in the middle of summer. We have a small entrance that’s quite easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Inside, it's mostly heavy machinery and piles of raw materials waiting to be used. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze moving around the floor. Our family has lived in this area for decades, so most of the neighbors know us. My uncle used to run the whole thing, but now I’m taking over more of the daily operations. We don't use much technology for the office side of things, mostly just a big physical ledger and some notebooks to track things. It seems to work well enough for us. The street out front is very narrow, so parking can be a real headache most of the time. Most of our regular customers just walk over or use a two-wheeler. We do the work as it comes in and don't worry too much about the rest. There’s no big hurry, but we try to stay on schedule. Neighbors stop by just to chat. We don't have a website. We just focus on our regular manufacturing work.
