Srushti Conservation Foundation

We are over at Soba Garden, specifically in Flat 104, Hissa 8. It is part of the Mahatma society here in Pune. Being based in SaffronC, we spend a lot of our time looking at how to protect the environment around us. Srushti Conservation Foundation isn't some big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a practical space where we get together to talk about trees, water, and the land. People around Pune know this area is getting crowded, so we try to focus on what is left of the nature nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. Sometimes the traffic near the society is a bit much, but it’s a good place to work from. There are usually a couple of us around if someone stops by, though we are often out doing stuff in the field. We don't really do big speeches or glossy brochures. It’s mostly just making sure things get done. The flat is easy to find once you get inside the Soba Garden gates. We have some papers stacked up and maps on the walls. It feels like a normal workplace. We’ve known each other for a while and just wanted to do something useful for the local area. Nothing too complicated, just daily work to keep things going. It's quiet enough in the afternoons to actually get some planning done before the evening rush starts again in the city.
