Our office is actually inside a residential building called Ruby, which is part of the Gulmohar Orchids complex. It is Flat A3-402, right in the middle of the IT park area in Kharadi. Being in this part of Pune means there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside, but once you are up in the flat, it is actually pretty quiet and calm. We use the main living room as our primary workspace and the bedrooms for storage and some smaller desks. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we have a lot of files and boxes piled up. The view from the fourth floor is mostly other apartment buildings and the road below. We make our own tea in the small kitchen and usually eat our lunch on the balcony if the weather is nice and not too dusty. It is not your typical corporate office with a big lobby and a receptionist at the front desk. You have to buzz the intercom at the gate just to get into the building. It feels more like a home than a workplace, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle. We like the location because everything we need, like shops and cafes, is just down the street. Pune is growing so fast, and Kharadi is right in the middle of all that change.
