Sphinx Trading Company

Sphinx Trading Company is right here in Shivaji Nagar, specifically at 1194/3 in Arya Society. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been set up here for some time now. Trading is one of those jobs where you never quite know what the next day is going to bring. One week we’re buried in orders and the next we’re waiting on a shipment that’s running late. It keeps us on our toes, that’s for sure. We don’t have a flashy showroom or a team of salespeople in suits. It’s just us in the office, checking lists and making sure the stock is where it needs to be. We try to keep things simple. If someone wants something, we find it and get it to them. There’s no need to make it more complicated than it is. The society here is quiet most of the time, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on numbers. We’ve made some good friends among the other businesses nearby. We aren’t looking to take over the world or anything, just trying to run a solid trading business and pay the bills. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we always fix them. That’s just part of being human and running a shop. We appreciate the folks who keep coming back to us year after year. It means we’re doing something right, even if we’re just a small outfit in Shivaji Nagar.
