Spellbound

Om Chamber is on J.M. Road, which is basically one of the busiest parts of Shivaji Nagar. If you are looking for Spellbound, we are at number 6 on the 711 stretch. The traffic outside is constant, a mix of buses and bikes that never really stops until late at night. Inside the chamber, it is a bit quieter, though you can still hear the distant honking. The elevator in the building has its moods; sometimes it works fine and other times it is better to just take the stairs. Our office is a simple one. We have some old wooden furniture and a few plants that we try to keep alive, though they don't get much sun. It feels like a solid place to be. We’ve had the same neighbors for years. The walls are a bit thin, so sometimes we hear the guy next door on his phone. We just sit here and handle our daily tasks. There's no big mission statement on the wall or anything. Just calendars and maybe a few notes taped to the monitors. People come in and go out, and we just keep the rhythm going. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people are in the same room, but we manage. Most days it’s just the usual grind of emails and phone calls. It’s home for us for eight hours a day.
