Our workplace is located in the Ram Nagar area of Katkewadi, right along the Pune Nagar Road. If you know that road, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic headed towards Ahmednagar. We are at Shailesh A. More’s place. It’s a good spot for a logistics company because we are right on a major artery, even if the noise from the trucks never really stops. Inside, the office is pretty basic. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We spend our hours coordinating shipments and making sure the warehouse operations are running without too many hiccups. It gets quite hot in this part of Pune during the summer, so we usually have the fans running full blast. We are a small team, and we’ve all been working together for a while, so we know each other's habits. There isn't any corporate polish here; the floors are concrete and the walls are just painted a simple off-white. We focus on the work at hand, which is usually trying to find where a delayed shipment has gone or prep for the next day's arrivals. It's the kind of place where you wear comfortable shoes because you're on your feet a lot. We just do our thing every day, deal with the Pune traffic, and try to get the logistics sorted out. It is steady work and keeps us all busy enough throughout the week.
