We're based out of Kalyan West, tucked away near the Mali Samaj Mandir in Ramdas Wadi. It’s a quiet enough spot until the delivery vans start showing up in the morning. Spear Logistics is basically just us working through the piles of paper manifests every single day. Sometimes the temple bells next door are the only way we really know what time it is. The office isn't much to look at. We just have a few old desks and some filing cabinets that don't always open properly. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us by name now. It gets a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we always manage to make it work. Most days it’s just phone calls and checking on where the drivers are located. Kalyan traffic can get pretty congested, so we spend a lot of time looking at maps and worrying about the monsoon rain. We don't have a big sign out front or anything special. Just look for the temple and we're right there next to it. We try to stay organized but things happen in this business. It’s not a glamorous job, just moving stuff from one point to another. We stay busy. Sometimes we grab snacks from the local street stalls during the afternoon slump. It’s just how we run things here at our place. Nothing too special about it, just honest daily work.
