Bhosari is a pretty industrial part of Pune, and that’s exactly where you’ll find Spear Logistics P. Ltd. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise from the nearby factories and workshops. Our day starts with a lot of noise too, mostly from shutters opening and engines starting up for the morning run. We manage a fair amount of storage and moving for the companies around here. The warehouse can get pretty crowded, so we spend a lot of time reorganizing things to make space for new arrivals. It’s mostly just making sure the right pallet goes on the right truck at the right time. We don’t really do anything special, just the usual logistics work. Some days are smoother than others. When a shipment is delayed, we have to scramble to find out why and let people know. The staff here is used to the fast pace. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next load to arrive at the gate. The building we’re in is practical and built for work, not for looking pretty to visitors. We don’t have much to say about ourselves other than we show up every morning and do the job. It’s a lot of lifting, checking labels, and making sure the gate is locked at night. Pune is growing fast, and we see more traffic every year, but we just keep doing our part in the middle of it all.
