Spark Engineers

If you head over to J-Block at MIDC in Bhosari, you’ll find us at Plot No.429. Spark Engineers is basically a big shed full of equipment and people who like making things work. It’s loud in this part of town, always sounds like metal hitting metal, which I guess is just how it is here. We aren't big on meetings or fancy paperwork. Most of the day is spent looking at drawings or standing by the machines. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order comes in and everyone has to pitch in. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings, but that's a sign of a busy day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, more shops opening up, but we just stay focused on our corner. It’s not a clean job, you go home with dirty hands every single evening. But there’s a sense of pride in seeing a pile of raw material turn into something useful by the time the lights go off. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make parts. If someone needs something done, they come find us in the back. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us. We keep our coffee strong and the machines running, and that’s about the extent of it.
