We are based at Vanita Banglow, which is Plot No-21 in Vidya Nager, Pune. You can find us right opposite the Himgiri Mahavidyalaya. It is a nice spot because it is near the college, so there are always students and faculty walking around. We are Somfy India, and we deal with things like motors and automation for homes. The office is inside a bungalow, so it feels more like a home than a stiff corporate building. We have a small yard outside and the rooms inside are where we keep our desks and some of our equipment. It is a bit of a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get busy with calls and emails throughout the morning. We don't go in for big sales pitches. We just explain how the motor systems work for curtains or blinds and let people decide what they need. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark during our meetings, but that is just part of being in a residential area. We’ve been at this Pune address for a while and we enjoy the local vibe. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure we answer all the questions people have about our products. It is simple, honest work and we like the location because it is easy for people to find once they see the college. We also handle the paperwork and the technical support from here.
