Soham Machine Tools

You can find us at the Sai Complex in the Baramati MIDC area. We are right on the Shankar Lane Extension, not too far from the Maharashtra Bank. It’s a busy part of the industrial zone with plenty of activity. Soham Machine Tools has been operating out of this unit for a good while. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many machines and tools packed in. It makes it hard to move around sometimes, especially when we have a lot of stock coming in from suppliers. We mainly deal with tools and equipment for other workshops in the area. It’s a lot of lifting and shifting heavy steel. The office is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s usually covered in blueprints and old invoices. We don't have air conditioning, so the big floor fans are always running in the summer to keep the air moving. It gets pretty loud, so you have to shout a bit to be heard over the noise of the machines. We aren't big on fancy titles or corporate structures. Everyone here does a bit of everything. One minute you're talking to a customer, and the next you're helping load a truck. That’s just the way it works in a place like this. We know the neighbors well, and we often borrow tools from each other. It’s a tight-knit community here in the MIDC. We just try to keep things running.
