Sohail Tamboli

I’ve been running things here in Nana Peth for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something going on outside the door. My name is Sohail Tamboli and this is just my small spot where I handle my daily business. I don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy words for me, so I’m just telling it like it is. Most days are pretty much the same. I open up early and stay until the work is finished. People from around the neighborhood stop in for what they need. Some have been coming here for years, and I know their families too. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s a working space where things actually get done. You’ll find some dust on the shelves and maybe some clutter, but that’s because we are busy working. I don’t think making things look better than they are just to impress people is worth the time. If you need something, you come in, we talk, and we figure it out. That is how things should be. Life in Nana Peth is fast, but inside here, we just take it one task at a time. I’ve lived around here most of my life so I know the streets well. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a decent job every day and keep the people coming back. It’s a simple life and a simple business. I guess that's all there is to it.
