We have been operating Smilax Infrastructures Pvt Ltd out of Pune for quite a while now. It is just a normal office where we handle all the infrastructure projects we have going on. Pune is a city that never seems to stop growing, and you can see that every time you step outside. We usually get to the office early to beat the worst of the traffic, which has definitely gotten heavier over the years. Our team is relatively small, mostly people who live around here and know the city well. We don't have any fancy glass buildings or a lot of corporate polish. It is just a place where we sit down with our maps and plans to figure out the day's work. Sometimes things go smoothly and other times we are dealing with delays or paperwork issues, but that is just the way it goes in this industry. We don't spend a lot of time on social media or making big speeches about what we do. We just focus on the practical side of getting things built. The office is usually a bit cluttered with documents and rolls of blueprints, which is fine by us because it means we are actually working. We have seen a lot of changes in the local landscape and it feels good to have a small part in that. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything moving forward as best as we can.
