Our place is on Plot Number 6 in the Dhankawadi area. We are part of the Yogi Saha Griha Sanstha over here. It’s a residential-feeling spot, which makes it feel more like a community office than a regular business. We started this because we saw that people in Dhankawadi needed a place to handle their savings without having to go all the way into the main city. The office isn't very large. We have some desks, some chairs, and a lot of paper folders. We do everything by hand mostly, or on the one computer we have. It’s a quiet neighborhood, so we don't get a huge rush of people all at once. It’s more like a steady stream of neighbors coming in to check their balances or put some money aside. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s more comfortable that way. We don't have any shiny signs or big slogans. We just have the name on the door. Working here means you hear a lot about what’s going on in the area. We like it that way. It’s just a basic financial office for the local society members. Sometimes we stay late to finish the monthly tallies, but usually, we head home when the sun goes down. It’s just us doing our part for the folks around Plot 6 and the Yogi Saha Griha Sanstha community. It is a simple way to spend the workday.
