Slash India

We are based out of Pune, and that pretty much defines how we work. The city has a certain rhythm to it, and Slash India fits right in. We don't have a massive corporate headquarters; we just have a space where the team gathers to get through the day's tasks. Pune weather is usually decent, so we don't mind the commute as much as people in other cities might, though the traffic near the main hubs is getting worse. We are a pretty relaxed group, honestly. We don't go for the whole 'corporate culture' thing with forced fun or stiff meetings. We just sit down, do our jobs, and talk about whatever is going on. Sometimes we order in some snacks and just work through the afternoon. Our office is filled with the usual stuff—computers, half-empty water bottles, and a lot of notebooks. We handle our business one step at a time. If there is a problem, we just talk it out and fix it. There is no complicated hierarchy here. If you need something, you just ask the person sitting next to you. It’s a very human way to run a company. We like being in Pune because it feels like home, and our work is just an extension of that. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just doing our bit here and making sure our clients are satisfied with what we produce.
