Sintex Industries

Our shop, Sintex Industries, is at Sai Chowk, right on 32G Cross 41523. It’s a very busy intersection and there is always noise from the vehicles passing by at all hours. We deal with industrial products, mostly the big plastic tanks and containers that people need for water storage at their homes or businesses. These things take up a lot of space, so the yard always looks full and a bit crowded. We’ve been here quite a while. Most of the people who come to us are builders or guys working on factory sites nearby. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s mostly just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of heavy lifting out in the yard. When a truck comes in to unload, everyone has to help out. It gets very dusty, especially in the summer months when the wind picks up. We drink a lot of water and just keep moving. Sometimes someone comes in looking for a specific size of tank we don’t have right then, and we have to call around or check when the next delivery is coming. It’s straightforward work. We don’t use big words or have long meetings. We just look at the orders and get the tanks moved out to the customers. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy loading done early. It’s a practical business for a practical area.
