Our Pune office is tucked away in Kothrud, right at Flat-6 in the Vimal Vihar complex. If you are coming down Paud Road, you have to look for the Balaji Automobile shop because it is right across from us. It is quite a busy stretch of road, so there is usually a lot of noise from the cars and bikes passing by throughout the day. The office itself is pretty simple and doesn't have any big signs or fancy lights. We share the space with a lot of files and old project maps. Simplex Infrastructures Ltd has been using this spot for its local operations for some time now. Most of the staff here are busy with technical drawings or making calls to suppliers. It is not the kind of place where you find leather sofas or modern art on the walls. Instead, you will see a lot of calculators, pens, and half-empty tea cups. The morning starts early here, often before the traffic on Paud Road really picks up. We have a small area for visitors, but most people who come by are just here to drop off invoices or discuss site plans. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really cares because we are too busy with the work at hand. It feels like a real workplace where things get done without any extra show. It is just a regular office in a regular part of Pune.
