Silky World

You can find Silky World at 2170 in the New Modhi Khana area, right by Poolgate. It’s an old part of the city and it has a lot of character. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building itself has seen a lot of years. It’s not a shiny new showroom; it’s more of a traditional workspace where we keep our stock and handle customers. Poolgate is always buzzing with people and traffic, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. Inside, we have rows of shelves and tables for sorting through things. The lighting isn't the best, but we know our way around the shop well enough. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don’t go in for fancy talk or expensive displays. We just show people what we have and let the items speak for themselves. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who come in or organizing the inventory. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty with all the foot traffic, but we try to keep up with it. It’s a hardworking environment and we wouldn't have it any other way. New Modhi Khana feels like home to us, and we are happy to be a part of the daily life here. We just take things one day at a time and keep the business going as best we can.
