Siba Gas Agency is over at C-4/19 in Madhuraj Nagar, right off Paud Road. We’ve been serving this neighborhood for a long time, helping people get their cooking gas cylinders delivered on time. It’s a pretty basic operation. We have the office where the paperwork happens and where people come to book their refills or sort out their connections. Paud Road is a busy place, and our delivery guys are always out on their cycles or small trucks weaving through the traffic. It’s not an easy job, especially during the monsoon or when the heat is really bad, but the kitchen fires have to keep burning. We deal with all sorts of issues, from lost booklets to leaky valves. The office can get quite loud when the phones are ringing and several people are waiting in line at the same time. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or leather chairs in the waiting area. It’s just a standard local agency. Most of our customers are neighbors who we’ve known for years. We know which houses are hard to find and which ones always have someone home. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but sometimes the supply is late or the trucks get stuck. That’s just the nature of the gas business. We stay here in Madhuraj Nagar and do our best to get the cylinders to the doorsteps as promised. It’s a routine we’ve mastered over the years and we just keep it going.
