Shyama Builders

Our office is tucked away in Shanti Kunj Apartment over in the Kharadwadi area of Pimpri, Pune. Being right behind the Municipal School means we hear the school bell ringing all through the day, which kind of tells us when it’s time for tea or when the day is wrapping up. We have been doing building work and construction from this spot for a while. Pune is growing so fast, and there is always some new project or a repair job that needs looking at. Our desk is usually covered in site maps, blue prints, and some samples of tiles or cement. It is not a very quiet office because of the school nearby and the general bustle of 411018. We don't have any fancy receptionists or glass cabins. It’s just us sitting around a big table talking about bricks, steel, and how to get the next wall up. Sometimes people come in asking for a job or just to see what’s being built nearby. We use old motorbikes to get to the sites because the traffic in Pimpri is getting worse every month. The apartment building where we stay is okay, though the parking is a bit tight for visitors. We don't bother with big slogans or polished brochures. Most of our work comes because someone told their neighbor about us. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the supplies arrive on time so the workers aren't sitting idle.
