Shruti Fab

Shruti Fab is located out in Nigdi, near the Naranpura side. We’ve been at this spot for a while. Mostly we do fabrication work. Metal, welding, that kind of stuff. It’s loud in the workshop. If you visit, you’ll probably hear the machines before you see us. I started this place because I liked working with my hands and steel. It’s not a fancy office. There’s iron scraps and tools everywhere. We try to keep it safe but it’s a working shop. People bring us sketches on scraps of paper sometimes. We just try to build what they need. The address is 41527. Nigdi is a good area for this kind of work. Lots of other shops around too. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the physical shop. I usually have a couple of guys helping with the heavy lifting and cutting. We drink a lot of tea while we work to stay sharp. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we moved the machines away from that spot last year. It’s just an honest living. We don’t make big promises or use big words. If a job is going to take a week, I tell them a week. Sometimes things get delayed if a machine breaks down or a supplier is late. That’s life. We just fix it and keep going. Most of our customers are locals who know us by name. It's a simple operation and we like it that way.
