Shriram Agencies

Our place, Shriram Agencies, is located over at Plot No.37/2 in the D-2 Block of the M.I.D.C area. It’s a typical industrial layout where all the plots look somewhat similar. You have to look for our number on the gate. The road outside gets pretty muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the entryway. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and storage space. We don't have many visitors, but when someone drops by, we usually have a plastic chair ready for them. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps us cool enough. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know where everything is kept even if it looks messy to an outsider. Lunchtime is when everyone sits together and shares whatever they brought from home. It’s quiet then, except for the sounds from the neighboring factories. We handle things as they come. There isn't a big manual for how we operate; we just know what needs doing. The phone rings quite a bit, mostly people asking for directions because the M.I.D.C blocks can be confusing if you aren’t used to them. We try to keep the paperwork organized, but sometimes the piles get a bit high on the main desk. It's just a regular working day for us at the plot. We stay until the light starts to fade and then head out.
