Our workshop is located in Pune, specifically in the Kothrud area near the new PMT bus depot. We’re part of the industrial landscape here as Shrinivas Machine Craft. The place is usually full of the smell of metal and cutting oil. We spend our days working with various machines, and there’s always a hum of activity from the workshop floor. It’s a Maharashtra-based operation and we’ve been at this for quite a while now. The space is organized for work, not for looks. We have tools scattered around and parts waiting to be shipped out. Being near the bus depot means there’s always a lot of movement outside, which makes it easy for people to find us when they need to stop by. We don't have a lot of time for idle chat because there’s always a deadline or a machine that needs fixing. The team is a group of hard-working folks who know their way around a lathe or a drill press. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or polished sales pitches. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our overalls, busy with some mechanical task or other. It’s a noisy, dusty environment, but that’s the reality of machine craft in a place like Bhosari. We just focus on the jobs that come in and try to keep things moving along without making a big deal out of it. It is what it is, and we just do the work as it comes and goes, day after day.
