Running a battery shop on Bajirao Road keeps us on our toes. We are located right at the I Stage, 5th Main in HBR Layout. It’s a pretty active part of the neighborhood. Batteries are heavy, and moving them around all day is basically our workout. We don't have a slick showroom with bright lights. It’s mostly just stacks of batteries and some testing equipment on the workbench. Sometimes the place smells a bit like acid or old lead, but you get used to it after a week or two. I usually sit near the front to talk to people who come in with dead car batteries or need something for their home power backup. It gets dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we try to wipe things down when we have a minute. My nephew helps out on the weekends when it gets crowded. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything. We just check the voltage, see if it can be charged, or sell a new one if the old one is completely gone. It’s practical work. Most of our neighbors stop by just to chat while their battery is getting tested. It feels more like a community spot than a big store. We’ve been at this HBR Layout location for a bit, and it’s been steady. Nothing fancy, just a lot of heavy lifting and making sure people can start their cars in the morning.
