Shri Ganesh Marble

Shri Ganesh Marble is over in Sadgurunagar, right on the Pune Nashik Road. We are located in the Dhumal Building, which is a well-known spot in the Bhosari area. The place is always a bit white with marble dust, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We have stacks of marble slabs leaning against the walls and it takes up a lot of the space we have here. People driving along the Pune Nashik Road often see our sign and pull over to see what we have in stock. It’s a bit of a heavy job, moving these stones around, so we spend a lot of time with the lifting equipment. The Dhumal Building has been our home for a while now and we are comfortable with the setup. We don't have any polished sales floor. You just walk in and see the stone as it is. We talk to people about what they need for their floors or counters and show them what is available in the yard. Sadgurunagar is a busy place to be, but it’s good for business because everyone passes by eventually. We are just regular people working with stone every day at Shri Ganesh Marble. It’s honest work and it gets us tired by the end of the day, but we like seeing the different patterns in the marble that come through our doors. We’ve been here at the Dhumal Building for years and the Pune Nashik Road is always humming with life outside our front door.
