Shri Dutta Industries

Our place is called Pushkar 19, and it’s located in the Navi Peth area of Rajendranagar. Shri Dutta Industries isn’t a massive factory or anything like that. It’s more of a local operation where a few of us handle everything. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it has a very lived-in feel. We’ve been here for a good number of years. The building itself is pretty simple and we use every bit of space we have for our work. We don't have a reception area or a lot of people sitting at computers. Most of our time is spent actually doing the manual work that needs to be done. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find tools lying around and projects in various stages of being finished. We don't really bother with any kind of formal marketing. Most people find out about us because they live nearby or they’ve heard our name from someone else. We keep things very basic. We come in, do what we need to do, and that’s about it. There’s a certain rhythm to working in Navi Peth that we really enjoy. It’s not too fast but it’s never boring either. We just keep our focus on the work on our benches and make sure we get things done right. It’s a plain, honest way to spend the day, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
