Shresth Abhiyaass Foundation

Our place is on the third floor of Vartalok Apartment in Sector 4C. It's room 411. You have to take the stairs or the lift up, and it’s usually pretty quiet in the hallway until you get to our door. We’ve been set up here for a while now. Most days it is just a few of us sitting around the table working through whatever tasks are on the list. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, we just focus on the people who come to see us in Sector 4C. It’s a decent sized apartment but we have it filled up with papers and files. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello or ask a question. We don’t mind. It feels more like a community spot than a regular office. We don’t have fancy signs or big posters everywhere. It’s just a place where we try to be helpful. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a foundation like this. We try to keep things straightforward. No one here is looking for a pat on the back. We just want to make sure the work we do actually helps someone out. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is here at once but we make it work. It’s home for us. The view from the third floor is alright, you can see some of the other blocks in Sector 4C. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens every now and then. We just take it in stride.
