You can find Shreelaxminarshinha Ginning Private Limited at the same spot in Model Colony as our spinning branch. We are in unit number four of Ambika Apartment on Shivaji Nagar’s Sr. No. 1098. Ginning is a messy business if you are at the factory but here in the office it is mostly about coordination and making sure the raw cotton is being processed right. We take the raw stuff and get it ready for the next stage. It sounds simple but there are always small problems that pop up with the machinery or the transport. We have been in Pune for years and this location works well for us because it is easy for people to find. The rooms are filled with the smell of old paper and sometimes a bit of cotton dust if we brought samples in that day. We do not have a big staff so everyone ends up doing a little bit of everything. One minute you are checking a bill and the next you are talking to a truck driver who got lost near the apartment. We do not use any fancy software for everything because the old ways of keeping track still work fine for us. It is a bit of a traditional way of running a business but it has kept us going through all the changes in the industry. We just want to get the ginning done and go home to our families.
